Just over a year ago, the conflict in Mosul ended. But the battle to rebuild the city and people’s lives is far from over.

The medical needs are immense with 70% of public hospitals destroyed in the fighting. Children and adults suffer from past war wounds that need ongoing treatment and new cases arrive from collapsing buildings and exploded devices. From the beginning of the conflict until now, Doctors Without Borders has been trying to address the demands.
