More than 706,000 Rohingya refugees have arrived in Bangladesh since late August 2017 after fleeing violence in Rakhine state, Myanmar. There are now approximately 919,000 Rohingya living in makeshift settlements across the Cox’s Bazar district.

MSF has deployed over 2,000 staff to respond to the growing medical and humanitarian needs. Our teams are running 5 inpatient facilities, 4 primary healthcare centres, 9 health posts and 1 mobile clinic.
